Three Year Old Loose Jumping Event

In association with Fences France & competition sponsored by Heritage Of Tomorrow

A Three Year Old loose jumping event will take place in the Emerald Equestrian Centre on Monday 24th June and boasts a prize fund of €2,500. There will be prize money for the top six placings, with the winning exhibitor claiming a sizeable prize of €1000. There will also be an additional prize of €200 for the breeder of the winning entry, to recognise their achievement.

This event is being held in association with Fences Auctions, one of the most successful sport horse auctions in Europe. The Fences team will use the event as the Irish selection day for the Fences Elite Auction - considered the European benchmark for the sale of young sport horses. In 2018 the average three year old price was €27,600, with a top price of €100,000. The previous year seven horses sold for in excess of €100,000.

The new event is kindly sponsored by Heritage Of Tomorrow - a high performance showjumping breeding programme. Heritage Of Tomorrow recently relocated their breeding mares and stallions to Ireland. This season four of their stallions are standing at Bonmahon Stud in County Waterford; Royal Vinckenburg, Gold Rush, Corrdino CH and Alvaro Von Pachern. Heritage Of Tomorrow also operates a sport stable in mainland Europe, where Junior Irish rider Ciaran Nallon is based.

The organising team: “This is an exciting opportunity for Irish breeders and producers to showcase their young showjumping prospects. The association with Fences creates a new platform for our breeders and producers to reach the European marketplace. We are very grateful to Fences for partnering with us, and to Heritage Of Tomorrow for sponsoring the competition.”

Arnaud Evain, President of Fences: “Ireland has a great history as a breeding nation and we are really looking forward to finding some exciting three year old jumpers at this event for the Fences Elite Auction.”

All horses entered for this event must be born in 2016 and have a passport from a World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) studbook, with sire and dam officially recorded.
